- Ph.D. in Engineering at Kyushu University's Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering at the same institution.
- Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Kyushu University’s Dept. of Information and Communication Engineering.
- Undertook a study abroad program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA.
- Served as a visiting scholar at the University of Washington in Seattle, USA, on two separate occasions.
